Review of Hôtel Résidence Cité-VerdaineDuring my recent city trip to Geneva, I had the pleasure of staying at Hôtel Résidence Cité-Verdaine, a hidden gem in the heart of the city. The hotel is ideally located just 200 meters from the stunning St Pierre Cathedral, making it a convenient base to explore the rich history and vibrant culture Geneva has to offer. The warmest welcome from the staff, particularly Nadia, instantly made me feel at home. The studio I stayed in was equipped with a basic yet functional kitchenette, which allowed for simple meal preparations amidst my busy schedule. While the cleanliness of the accommodations was commendable, the comfort level of the bed took some getting used to, but by the end of my stay, I found myself settling in quite well. For those sensitive to noise, the thin walls might pose a concern, especially in the bustling city center where sounds are abundant. In terms of amenities, the availability of free Wi-Fi was a bonus, though it could be patchy at times. Cité-Verdaine offers a comfortable stay with friendly service, though it may be best suited for short-term visits rather than extended business trips.
